اینجا ایران است؛ سرزمینی که هنر در رگهای تاریخش جاریست. از نگارههای بینظیر تخت جمشید تا نقوش ظریف مسجد شیخ لطفالله، از شعر حافظ تا نواهای دلنشین موسیقی اصیل، هنر این دیار، آینهای از روح جمعی مردمی است که زیبایی را نه یک انتخاب، که یک ضرورت زندگی میدانند.
هنرمند ایرانی، با دستانش خاک را به سفالی لطیف بدل میکند، با قلمش بر دیوارههای خشتی نقشِ زندگی میزند و با واژههایش جهانی از معنا میآفریند. او وارث میراثی است که “حکیم عمر خیام” در رباعیاتش به آن اشاره کرده: “این کوزه چو من عاشق زاری بوده است…”؛ هر اثر هنری، روایتگر دردها، شادیها و عشقهای انسانی است.
“شمس تبریزی” گفت: “دل را زبان است بیزبانی… دل را دلیل است بیدلیلی”. هنر ایران نیز همواره زبانی بیزبان داشته است؛ از تذهیبهای پرپیچوتابش تا فرشهای پرنقشونگار، هرکدام دلیلی برای بودن هستند، بیآنکه نیاز به شرح و تفصیل داشته باشند. هنرمند معاصر ایرانی، در عین وفاداری به این ریشههای عمیق، امروز را نیز در آینه هنرش میبیند و آینده را تصویر میکند.
این صفحه، پنجرهای است به سوی این جهان بیکران. به امید آنکه تاروپود واژهها و تصاویرمان، همچون فرش ایرانی، روایتی رنگین از اندیشه و احساس را پیش چشمان شما بگستراند.

Shams Tabrizi said: “The heart has a language beyond words… The heart has a proof beyond reason.” Iranian art, too, has always spoken a wordless language; from its intricate illuminations to its elaborate carpets, each is a reason for being, without needing elaborate explanation. The contemporary Iranian artist, while loyal to these deep roots, also reflects the present and envisions the future in their artistic mirror.
